What is WWW?

How you can help

One of our outreach programs at Redeemer Lutheran Church is our WWW program. WWW stands for Wash, Wipe, and Wear. Every month we give away diapers, detergent, toilet paper, and other hygiene products to those in the community that need them. This program has been going on for many years, more than I can count!

There are lots of opportunities to volunteer to help with this. Once a month, someone picks up the order from the Dollar Tree and brings it up to church, and another person picks up our diaper order from the Diaper Bank.  On the third Thursday of the month, volunteers gather at church to wrap the packages of diapers into packs of 25 diapers, and also prepare sacks with toilet paper, laundry detergent, and whatever other product we are giving out. This only takes about an hour. Then on the third Saturday of the month, two volunteers hand out the bags of product and packages of diapers to people driving through the parking lot.

The handout times are from 1:00-2:30PM.

We see many happy, grateful faces when we hand out these items! We are looking for more volunteers to join us. If you are interested in volunteering for either an hour on a Thursday, or 1 1/2 hours on a Saturday, please contact the church office
