Do you wonder how you could do this without a huge time commitment? The Shepherd’s Ministry may be just the fit for you!

The purpose of the Shepherd’s Ministry is to provide a simple way to stay in touch with each individual or family in the congregation. A monthly phone call is used to inquire how they are, if they have any needs or prayer requests, and, by being in touch, to simply let them know they are cared about by the Redeemer community. It would also provide amore accurate list of people who are still engaged with Redeemer.

Volunteers come from the congregation. This is how it works: each volunteer is assigned names from the directory. A monthly call is made to each person or family on the list. The call is as long or as short as the volunteer wants it to be. If anyone needs attention from  the on call pastor or church the shepherd will forward that information to the office via a call or email.

According to our Directory, there are 54 individuals and families at Redeemer. We arelooking for, at least, ten volunteers who would commit to one year of calling.
