Becoming a parent is a life changing experience. We’ve certainly had an entertaining start to her life- from the COVID situation, to her early birth, to the start of daycare while Mom goes back to work. I’m forever grateful for the support of Matt, my Mom, my doula Heather and the team of healthcare providers that gave advice, stayed up late, got up early and helped get us through those first few weeks of chaos. Everyone talks about how great it is to see your child grow up but I was not prepared for how amazing it is to watch her change and learn from day to day. Perrin recently starting laughing and it’s the best sound in the world- I never knew I could love listening to her laugh so much. We are excited to bring her to Redeemer to meet her church family, and to grow up in such a loving and caring community.
