It’s a monthly gathering of women during the evening to accommodate work schedules. The Ruth Circle is about fellowship, worship, book reading, hiking, service projects and conversation punctuated with laughter, new experiences and sharing stories. Meeting time vary with everyone’s schedules. Check the calendar for updates.
Coffee hour between services is always lively, but once a month we shake things up with random seating and a list of seasonal questions for each to answer. It evokes conversations, allows sharing of lives and brings all generations together in prayer and fellowship.
“It helps us learn to pray as a community. Three different people at each table lead a prayer. It’s frightening to pray out loud. But I want us to grow in that.” – Fmr. Pastor Ken.
The Congregational Retreat utilizes the wonderful facilities at Luther Heights Bible Camp and offers an opportunity for participants to worship, serve, eat, play, relax and perambulate (dance) together. The hope and guiding principle is for the Congregational Retreat to be a time of personal and family refreshment, greater connection with God in God’s creation and fellowship with the Redeemer and Grace (Horseshoe Bend) communities.
